About the Event
This workshop aims to delve a little deeper into your yoga practice.
Working with intention, pranayama (breath),asana (postures), mudra, and mantra. Expect a dynamic yoga sequence working with heat we create within the body to strengthen and align ourselves . The workshop is aimed to tap into all energy systems, increasing body awareness with effective use of your breath.
Yoga builds strength, flexibility, balance and focus. It is the perfect opportunity to gain a greater understanding of some of the well known asanas (poses).
We will begin our afternoon with intention and breath-work to ease ourselves in. Moving into warm up stretches and core work to strengthen and stabilise the core and lower back.
Progressing to our dynamic yoga
flow, of sun salutations, twists, strengthening poses, working towards arm balances. All of this Wrapped up with a nourishing sivasana (relaxation).
Our afternoon together will offer you the opportunity to work on your strength, alignment, balance and posture.
What’s not to love?
Complete beginners to advanced practitioners are welcome, although a general level of fitness is advised.
